Hemet Valley Information
New homes are being constructed and businesses continue to locate within our boundaries. Many of the local senior communities are renovating in order to provide desirable accommodations for a newly retired segment of our population. The Valley is now home to over 150,000 residents, about 65,000 of which are in the City of Hemet limits.
The City of Hemet opened the doors of the 49,000 square foot state-of-the-art library on June 21, 2003.

The annual Idyllwild Arts Summer Program has a 50-year tradition of presenting
concerts, exhibitions and performances. In addition to the Idyllwild Music
Festival running August 11–17, the program also features a poetry festival, as
well as song and dance performances, art workshops and exhibits.
